When there’s that much smoke, there’s fire. If you can’t manage a county without chaos, how are you going to run California? We need strength, not someone who bends the knee.

Honestly baffled by people who want to stay in elected office for decades. From the outside it seems like the most Sisyphean life — giving speeches no one cares about and occasionally passing a budget. I do not understand the appeal.
