@LawyerYouKnow Work in healthcare: there is a difference between illicit street drugs and drug diversion. Seems both you and the defense don’t know the difference.

After the judge said the defense opened the door to discuss whether (even hearing from others apparently) the state asked HAS ANYONE EVER TOLD YOU Eric took illicit street drugs? And he said no - but in a prior statement he said Eric was addicted to pain pills in highschool. The judge seems to be struggling with the "illicit street drug" part of this - IMO the state decided to continue down that road (unnecessarily) and this should ABSOLUTELY come in - not sure the judge will agree, but the state should have just stayed away from this knowing that prior statement was out there. Just as an aside - pain pills can ABSOLUTELY be considered illicit street drugs.

NFT royalties shouldn’t exist because it’s “the right thing to do”. It is simply the best alignment of incentives between founders & holders (right now). If you want to remove royalties, that’s fine. Just don’t be mad when mints become more expensive and more projects rug, lol.
