“Fair—Not much of a sharer or a talker?”
(Chris asked, swirling his own glass of whiskey, but not taking the sip just yet. His eyes were traveling from the other’s face to the tattoo that was bare across his arm.)
“Interesting tattoo… Does it have a meaning?”

The ex-marine stared then huffed lightly. He takes his lighter out and lights a cigarette, flicking it closed. He pondered his words carefully, briefly staring at the S.T.A.R.S. logo on the sleeve then looked away as he took his glass, sipping calmly. "Something like that."

“Nah, I’ll be fine… I stick to my meal plans for the next week, or I might get screwed into more training.”
(Chris sighed, hating to restrict himself but having no choice for now. Doctor’s orders after all.)
“But if you're hungry… I'm fine with going to grab something.”

(Chris glanced at his older self beside him before pouring the whiskey into the glass set for the other. Once finished, he slid it his way.)

(Chris shot her a quick wink as he stepped on the accelerator, shifting the gear knob to begin going fast suddenly. Though not as fast as he could, he didn't want to completely risk their safety as the car picked up speed down the strip.)
