As @AGSPrincipal 's team of intrepid explorers come towards the end of their #SchoolExpedition in #India, here's a sneak 'peak' of them at 5,400m in the #Himalayas ... we can't wait to hear their adventure tales...

News all very positive from the group trekking in the Himalayas at 5400m - white water rafting tomorrow!

Pupils and staff arrived in the Atlas Mountains yesterday. They say it’s spectacular but very hot! They have started one of the projects which is covering the water pipe from the reservoir to the village. They are also involved in a building project at the local school and a plastic clear up. They will spend another 3 days in the village and will then set off on their 5 day trek, summiting the third highest peak in the mountain range, all being well. Project day 2 in the local primary school, and pupils and locals have been digging a trench to prevent damp going into the classrooms. Tonight they will visit the womens cooperative to see how blankets and rugs are made. And yes, they managed to watch the football!! #DenstoneCollege #ItStartsHere #Morocco

Not only are our pupils having the most fantastic time but they are also helping with the conservation work - we are so proud of them and their contribution to this cause.
