I have loved sharing our school’s eco and science news but we now think it’s time for a change. So , fingers crossed , I will be sharing activities and our science news through our school website and our google classrooms.

What an absolute joy this man is. @thebodycoach As a teacher, in lockdown, I was so impressed with his playfulness as a father. I was so pleased to be able to tell him so in person. What a lovely bloke. 🥰

Allowing children to explore the resources in Science is essential. Planning their own investigations and collecting data in the best way they can means @SandfieldClose we have rich discussions, sensible learning and creative children that can all succeed.

Gears, levers &pulleys with year 6 @SandfieldClose plus the energy from elastic bands powering vehicles. Proud teacher today as there are car designers, accountants, chemists of the future. Children with drive and ambition. Secondary schools we have done all we can, over to you.

So proud to be a teacher @SandfieldClose when your year 6 class behave like this at the end of term. Plus the power of @LEGO_Group and looking after resources. Gears, levers and pulleys!

@JoMoorePriSci After working with 100 teachers @WinAcadTrust primaries yesterday, I’m hoping you had a few Walsall and the surrounding area sign up! Some were looking at your support videos in the afternoon.

Hoping I can get a few on my way to school @BTSLeicester , but disappointed the commuter time doesn’t start until 7 am, as I leave at 6:30 on my bike to avoid the traffic. Checking out the route to maximise points.
Beat the Street Leicester@BTSLeicester

Beat the Street starts tomorrow! It's fun, free and simple to play. The challenge is to score as many points as possible for you and your team while walking, cycling and wheeling around your area. How far will you go? beatthestreet.me/leicester @CRTEastMidlands @Leicester_News

It really is a privilege to teach the next generation of teachers @LeicsSCITT Everyone who comes to @SandfieldClose has to make and fire a rocket. Hoping they have long and happy teaching careers. At least 4 future sci leads! @pstt_whyhow @theASE

My hands maybe stained red, but I have made enough playdough for year 3 to model some human muscles in science tomorrow 😂

@redgierob I love this story start. I know it off by heart. Does it have the elements of greater depth ? Why does it need it? It grips the reader, I’m the reader. It may not appeal to everyone, but that’s why writing fiction is subjective.

Heart dissection @SandfieldClose amazing observations, looking for the difference between the fat and the muscle, spotting the blood vessels, feeling the texture and working out where the blood goes in and out and cutting open to find the chambers.
