Happy Independence Day! Today, we celebrate more than fireworks, cookouts, and time with family. We celebrate the birth of a nation founded 250 years ago by ordinary men who displayed extraordinary courage. Because of their willingness to stand for something greater than themselves, we enjoy the freedoms that define America today. As members of the St. Thomas Football family, we are called to carry that same spirit through the pillars of Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge. Goodness reminds us to serve others, lead with humility, and represent Christ in our words and actions. The strength of our nation has always depended on the character of its people. Discipline is the bridge between our goals and our accomplishments. Just as our nation’s founders endured hardship to secure freedom, we embrace hard work, accountability, and perseverance to become the men we are called to be.
