I’m thrilled to announce, beginning this week, that I’ve joined REP Football (@REPFootballRec) full time, as their Director of Communications. Being a part of REP is an incredible opportunity to help high school athletes receive recognition for their talents and achieve their dreams of playing at the next level, a passion of mine since entering this industry years ago. A big thanks to @CoachBAllen, @REPCoachMorgan, and the rest of the guys for the opportunity to be a part of the REP team. Excited for the future!

🚨UPDATE: Due to the SPC Championships on May 2nd and other scheduling conflicts within the community… The TXPS Retreat is NOW scheduled for July 11th, 2026.   We are back in Fort Worth with the top QBs, RBs, WRs, LBs, DBs, OL, and DL for the fourth annual, invitation-only TXPS Retreat, to allow the best in Texas to compete and build community. The top job on the TXPS market is now taken with David Wetzel getting the job to lead the Lions. After over 20 years coaching in the HS ranks, Wetzel has spent the last decade high up in the Baylor ranks, leading the B Association and being the Senior Associate Athletic Director. Now it seems like he wants to get back to his roots and get back into coaching and there’s no better place to do that than Prestonwood Christian! Welcome back to TXPS, Coach!

Another school throws their hat into the coaching carousel ring as St Mikes is now looking for their new head coach. This is a school that has recently moved up to TAPPS DI and has found success, despite being one of the smaller schools in terms of enrollment in the ranks. I would expect a lot of coaches around #txhsfb to be interested in this job. Hopefully, they look internally to the TXPS ranks because there are tons of young coaches who would be great for this.
