🤔Research indicates a strong correlation between tattoos and past trauma, particularly childhood abuse, neglect, or significant loss. Often times, tattoos function as a tool for reclaiming body agency, marking survival, or coping with emotional pain by converting it into physical sensations (a very Pluto game).
