First homestand was a long one but we got it done. Lots of time with the tarp on and dealing with MN weather. The field is looking pretty good with the conditions we’ve had these past few weeks. Looking forward to the warmer temps to get the field fully awake and thriving again!

First cut of the year and irrigation is back up and running. The season is right around the corner!

Safe to say we’ve had a busy few days since the snowstorm this past weekend. Definitely worth it as we can see some grass and growth blankets before the increasing temps this weekend!

@SLBeekeepers Downside of our setup is we have the loading dock right off our shop as well the garbage compactors. Gets really busy with deliveries and can be a challenge moving equipment around when deliveries are being made.

@SLBeekeepers We love having 3 material bins inside for infield mix, sand, etc. having enough storage to have everything stored inside is a huge plus.

Help me out turf/golf twitter. Building out the shop at the new ballpark in the next month. I’m looking for any advice, tips, products, tool organizers etc. Love to see pictures of your set up.

@DundasGC Tough break for you guys. All things considered, the infield looks good!

Sandbagging seems to have helped minimize the washout. Outfield has some streaks of material but not overwhelming. Infield was actually pretty firm.

Turf fam: anyone with flood recovery experience please DM us. Looking for advice on a few details….

Haven’t posted many updates lately, but things are just fusing along here at the Vic! Irrigation mainline going in, ACO drains wrapped up, and laterals being “dugout”.

11 inches of snow yesterday, only a couple inches left now. Our parking lot is FULL. Opening day in 49 hours

@STPGroundsCrew @SLBeekeepers Black sand, or just normal sand? Either way, that amount of melting is impressive.

@SLBeekeepers We used a snowblower to cut lines through the OF to get wheelbarrows of sand out and spread it over all the snow. Then we shoveled all the snow off the tarp and cleared the track with our tractor snowblower. The sun took care of the rest. Sand on top with sun was the key
