Let's talk about the limited-time 'OG #Jailbreak' gamemode and why it should be made a permanent addition by @badimo.👇
1. Community Consensus:
Approximately 85% of the #Roblox Jailbreak community has shown their support for a possible permanent addition of OG Jailbreak. I ran a poll on my account which has ~1,500 votes at the time of this tweet, asking "Should OG Jailbreak stay forever?" Currently 82% voted Yes.
A moderator in the Roblox Jailbreak Discord server also ran a poll "Would you want OG Jailbreak to be a permanent addition to the game?" in which 85% voted Yes.
2. Permanent Boost in Player Count:
With the end of monthly Roblox Jailbreak updates, maintaining the interest of players is crucial. Keeping the OG Jailbreak gamemode would arguably provide a permanent boost in player count, similar to how Jailbreak Trading has boosted the player count since it was released.
3. Grinding Opportunities:
Even if the return of OG Jailbreak wasn't permanent, simply extending it would allow players to fully immerse themselves in the experience of grinding OG Jailbreak. With the number of vehicles and cosmetics in OG Jailbreak, many players, especially players who have already completed the 'real' Jailbreak, would be interested in fully completing the OG version.
4. Final Statement:
According to a few players, Badimo is dead-set on removing OG Jailbreak at the currently scheduled time. Despite this, I think it's crucial that we voice our opinions. I believe we can make a difference as a community.
In conclusion, the benefits of making 'OG Jailbreak' a permanent addition far outweigh any drawbacks. It's a win-win situation for both the developers and the community. Let's make 'OG Jailbreak' a permanent part of the Jailbreak experience!

Jailbreak is turning 7?! What began as an idea by two online friends became a phenomenon that we still can't believe. Having a game loved by so many for so long is a developer's dream. After many years, & hundreds of updates, we feel ready to turn the page and call an end to the monthly update cycle. The game has so much content these days. We want to avoid bloating Jailbreak with niche features that only benefit a handful of people. And, we are itching to develop and learn from crazy new moonshot game ideas, whether they succeed or fail. We want to dedicate everything we have to these new projects. We love making games. But first, a LIVE EVENT is happening. Join us late April to celebrate the game, players, streamers, creators, and the history we've made with you. Teasers will be here in the coming weeks and we look forward to the celebration. Stay tuned for more info! This isn't a goodbye. We still love Jailbreak. We plan to support our creators and keep seasons going with new cosmetics for those interested. We will also push important bug fixes.
