My last post on Twitter was in September. It was about Daytona, the house we rented and my dream car. Well, we're here. 👊 #DAYTONA500   we're heading to the track for the doubleheader today @ARCA_Racing and @XfinityRacing. Then, the big race on Sunday 🏁🇺🇸

Just rented a beach house and my dream car five months before the Daytona 500! That's all I have to say! 🏁💪

@bobpockrass My first race (in person) was the 600 in 2003. I drove from Chicago. It started early because of the weather. Had to park like 2 miles away. Was rain delayed multiple times and ran until almost 1:30 am. All to see Jimmie win. I picked Kevin Harvick to be my fav driver this night!

@Tony14M5fan @TeamTrackhouse I'm still shopping around at this point. It's so tough after 20+ years of being a KH fan, but the good news is that I'm still watching. You always hear about people saying, "I quit watching because..." I'm not that person. Just need some time to figure it out 🏁

@STXJoy4 I’ve started going for @TeamTrackhouse. I like their vibe and new life in the sport.

Since my favorite driver retired, I'm still trying to figure out who to root for in NASCAR. I am leaning towards a few, but right now, I'm an independent and undecided fan. Big decisions to be made over yonder! ✅️🏁 I'm open to all options except boring. Don't be boring!

@jshaunAU2006 🤣 I like the 5 to a point, but the other ones... no, thank you. Who doesn't like Kyle Larson as a driver? He seems pretty cool, but not KH level personality wise. It's very difficult for exactly that reason. It's a mind block for me.

@PPistone I thought it was a great race today, and I no longer have a favorite driver. That said, some people are hard to please. The Championship race had way less action vs. today, and we were there in person this past November. The highlight of any race day is that there's racing. 🏁

NASCAR has moved into the impossibly untenable world where if it’s not three wide for three hours the race is deemed a failure - unless of course it’s a superspeedway then nobody likes that either 🤷🏼‍♂️

@SouthernKeeks My apologies for misunderstanding your tweet. Obviously, I've been watching way too much TV coverage tonight. Sorry! I NEVER watch the "news" anymore. That said, I think how you raise your children is your own business. You know what's best for them and for your own family.

@STXJoy4 I’m not talking about political candidates or voting at all. I’m talking about the current attitudes toward women from the extreme left and extreme right.

I feel more and more like a rebel as I view the extremes on both sides. No, I’m not a radical feminist who hates kids and motherhood. (I love my boys and being a mom.) No, I don’t think you’re evil if you’re a single woman who has a career *or* a mother who works outside the home. And both sides are just hysterical. I like wearing dresses, makeup, and cooking or baking. I also love to write, learn, and do creative things on my own. I feel like that’s rather normal. But both of the extremes think my type is a problem. Smh.

Best excuse to get out of jury duty. Go.

@JoeOfTheNorth We're here and are prepared for the weather, but I'm absolutely not going to the track unless a weather miracle happens on Sunday.

As much as it absolutely sucks to do for NASCAR, I'm hoping that the 500 is postponed until Monday. As a fan, I don't want to sit there waiting for no reason when we all know it's not going to happen given the forecast.
