Wait… do people really think Joseph was the only person involved in his revelations? Do they not know about multiple witnesses on multiple occasions also seeing angels and having visions with Joseph? Do they not know that almost 20 people reported being shown the plates?

I don't fault Mormons/LDS for being impressed with the stories about John Smith and his cadre witnessing what they claim to have, but whenever they try to impress others with it, it makes me scratch my head a bit. Do they have any idea the breadth and number of miracles witnessed in the Catholic Church? Fatima and the miracle of the sun alone had upwards of 60,000 witnesses, including anti-Christians, journalists, and atheists. Alongside that, the claims of a tiny cadre of like-minded men is hardly impressive at all.
