(n/n, n=20) To the extent the pattern field we introduce is "real dark matter", it varies on the scale of galaxies and would therefore seem to need a detector on this scale. This is of course not good news for lab searches for DM.

(19/n) On the flip side, this suggests that the MOND rule, for example, is a scaling law that describes dynamically self-organized states and is thus robust, even if it not a fundamental law of nature.
