FINAL: All lanes of EB SR 14 are now OPEN✈️
Around noon, a small plane made an emergency landing on EB SR 14 at MP 2.4 in Vancouver, closing the right lane while crews responded.
Traffic is cleared for takeoff and back on its flight path. Thanks for your patience!

A small plane had an emergency landing on SR 14 near MP 2. The plane did not hit any vehicles and there are no injuries to those onboard. EB SR 14 is still currently blocked. Please have patience in the area.

Imagine planning and paying for your honeymoon to Cabo months in advance, finally the big day comes you exchange your vows, pose for pictures, you entertain all your family and friends at the wedding reception, you hit the bed exhausted knowing you’ve got to get up and jet off to the Westin (Marriott) hotel in Cabo San Lucas for what you hope will be a week of bliss to start off your new marriage, finally you touchdown and head over to baggage claim, Yep the bags all made it time to exhale, now it’s grab a cab and head for the hotel, you and the wife are all smiles as you head up to the concierge at the front desk you handover your credentials, the clerk types in your name and poof nothing for some inexplicable reason (Marriott) canceled your reservation with no notification, no refund, after hours of phone calls and getting locals involved they finally acquiesce to refunding your money and giving you a room but at full price.

NEW: Police have released more info about the "Harry Dresden" break-in in Fairfield, CA, say both the homeowner & Nichols sustained head injuries.
Police are praising the "actions of the homeowner" who raced home to confront 30-year-old Jason Nichols with a shovel.
Authorities say that the homeowner's wife and child were inside when Nichols broke in. When Nichols was unable to break in through the front door, he broke in through a sliding glass door.
"The homeowner's husband, who was away at the time, observed the suspect through a home security camera and immediately returned to the residence," said police.
"As the suspect entered the home, the homeowner returned, armed himself with a shovel, and confronted Nichols."
"A physical altercation ensued, during which both the homeowner and Nichols sustained head injuries."
"We are grateful that the family is safe and commend our officers for their swift response in bringing this dangerous situation to a safe resolution."
The woman and child were reportedly unharmed.

This is actually giving horror movie vibes… She kept saying her NYC apartment felt freezing cold, no matter how high the heat was. Something just felt… off.

This is absolutely disgusting. Back in September 2021 in Palm Coast, Florida, a neonatal ICU nurse who cared for vulnerable newborns brutally beat her own 14-year-old son for FOUR MINUTES — kicking him, hitting him with his phone, and choking him — all while her daughter recorded the horror on Snapchat. The bodycam footage of her denying everything and gaslighting the police is pure evil.
She was convicted of aggravated child abuse (a felony), lost her job in the neonatal unit because of it, and got just 14 months in prison followed by probation (which was even terminated early in November 2025).
A woman entrusted with the most fragile newborns was abusing her own children at home, and the justice system gave her a slap on the wrist. Those poor kids deserved real protection. How is this justice? The system failed them completely.

🚗 Part 2 — now three cop cars show up and the situation keeps escalating…
Mary stands her ground and calmly tells the officers she has every right to be parked on a public road near the trailhead.
The supervisor (and Officer Connors) keep pushing her to just get in her car and leave.
But she stays firm, questions why she should leave when she hasn’t done anything illegal, and refuses to do them any “favors.”
I’ve read the comments on Part 1 and it seems like people have very mixed opinions on this one.
Personally, when the officers told her she was free to go, I would have left — a bit angry, but I would have left.
I’d love to hear your opinions on this.

🚗 This woman returns from a peaceful dog walk only to find angry neighbors waiting at her car… She had parked legally on a public road near a trailhead in Hanover, MA. A group of locals are furious, claiming she’s blocking access — even though she’s not in front of any driveway. When the officer arrives, he immediately sides with the residents and starts questioning her in a very rude tone. He even asks if she has “any medical issues or anything.” I get why she’s upset — she didn’t do anything illegal — but I’m trying to figure out why she doesn’t just leave instead of escalating the situation. This confrontation gets crazy fast — Part 1.
