Gavin Newsom has signed SB 357! When it goes into effect January 1, 2023, the provision of the law criminalizing “loitering with intent to commit prostitution” will be repealed and those convicted under the old statute will be able to clear their names.

@whoreganizer And with some of the trigger laws going into effect, even contraceptives and condoms may be on the hit list only affecting the SW community even moreso. We need to stand and fight but we also need to be there for the affected to transition them to safe areas.

everyone is experiencing what sex workers went through when fosta/sesta passed and all i can say at this point is to focus on opsec + risk assessments, find your people online, connect across platforms, download signal, and be prepared to organize ‘offline’ to avoid surveillance
