@MarkBoy60998176 Band 6 goes to £40k, and band 6 nurses typically have more skills and experience so should rightly be paid more. Band 7 doesn’t even go to £50k so I’ve no idea where you’ve got those stats from.

I don’t think all the people who are saying “if you don’t want to be a nurse then leave” realise that’s exactly what’s happening. 40,000 nurses left the workforce last year - who’s going to replace them if we don’t improve pay and working conditions?
