@TristansTrash @BengalYouTube Perez is not a hall of famer. He’s below average defensively and had one exceptional year and a bunch of good seasons. He’s not Mauer, Posey, or Molina. He’s a worse Lance Parrish, who undoubtedly should be in the hall before Perez is even considered.

@mollyhannahm Their dad played in the top league in the world, regardless of sex. Their mom plays in the best league for women. If there’s a woman good enough, they can play in the NBA. Saying someone is more legendary for dominating in a worse league is not a great take.

By US standards, Hitler was on the extreme middle. Big government, anti-business, pro arresting political opponents = the US left.

This is the absolute wildest 20-30 NBA ranking I have ever come across. On the one hand, my guy Wes Unseld is present. Love that. On the other hand, Tim Duncan and Kobe being outside the top 20 shows this character thinks the 21st century never happened.

The type of behavior you see from these streamers is prevalent in about .5% of those with tourettes. And the vast majority of those are found in men, while most streamers are women

@podoffame @baseball_ref The only real debate is between Griffey and Trout. At their peaks Trout is better, though Griffey played clean in an era with heavy steroid use so his advanced numbers are impacted by that. Two of the top ten hitters ever. Clemente is top 30 and Ott is in the top 40.

@podoffame Mookie is in no way a better player than Trout. Ott was never considered the best player in the league. Trout was for 6+ years when the league is as good as it’s ever been. And using your own view, Trout is clearly ahead of Foxx, who’s a better player than Ott.

Is it really fair though when Ott is the third best player of a decade where Lou Gehrig and Jimmie Foxx were the top 2 guys? Meanwhile, Trout is the best player of the 2010s, ahead of Robinson Cano and Joey Votto? Also, Pujols, Judge and Ohtani are all better than Trout. When Mookie’s career ends, he will probably be ahead of him as well.

Under this logic, Mike Trout is better than Hank Aaron, as Hank was not the best player of the 1950s (Mantle) or 1960s (Mays). Also, you must think Trout is better than Stan Musial, as Stan was not the best player of the 40s (Williams) or 50s (Mantle). Good call.

@podoffame Mike Trout is unequivocally a better player. He’s the best player of the 2010s. The only fair comparison is to compare other players who were clearly the best during their respective era. Just because Mel had a longer career does not make him better.
