Dance that draws children & adults into a trusting, warm, playful relationship can start to fill gaps in experiences that children have encountered in the past few years. We develop physical literacy through dance by developing connection & enabling children to feel safe.
East Midlands Early Years Stronger Practice Hub@east_mids_hub

Liz Clark's blog on physical literacy in early years is now live on our website! There is a substantial body of knowledge from neurologists, health specialists, movement analysts, and therapists about the importance of physical activity. 🔗pengreen.org/stronger-pract…

Thanks to all @MerycEngland for the invitation to share my research in this session yesterday evening. It was great to share my thinking on musical play in the outdoors. Great questions and discussion too. 🙂

Very sad at the loss of Pauline Tambling. She was loved and respected by those who worked with her, including in her time at the Arts Council. Her legacy in championing opportunity for young people in the cultural sector will last.

Remembering Pauline Tambling, a pioneer in the arts and creative industries, who was the first dedicated Education leader at the ROH and went on to exert wide influence, changing the lives of generations of young people. bit.ly/3uReiei
