@AskMichaelTaiwo Resistor. Business operates in dynamic environments, so change is something anyone should welcome. If anyone can resist change, such a person has the capacity to put the brand behind.

@Reemydgr8 @iamexona @kunle_pata Now this is why everybody should learn Finance 101. If you know you have a constant income per month, then you can borrow ahead then use the monthly income for the repayment plan. Because if you wait to save 840k, the time value of money will hit the value of the money.

@iamexona @S_Durotimi @kunle_pata The 70k transport sef is not paid at once for the whole year, it is this month salary that determines next month transport. So, technically, he can't afford the 840k we calculated above. Almost everybody is underpaid in Nigeria sha.

I had been avoiding this video since yesterday, but the moment I finally watched it, it reminded me of how one of my friends quit his 9–5 job from Meiran to Lekki in the funniest way. The guy had endured that routine for a long time. Most days, his mum would keep encouraging him to push through. He’d leave home as early as 5 a.m. and still get back late at night. One day, there was crazy traffic and he didn’t get home until around 11 p.m., knowing fully well he still had to go back to the office the next day. His mum had already made dinner for him. While eating his eba, he dozed off from exhaustion. In the middle of the night, he suddenly woke up and saw a rat on his hand, eating the swallow he was about to put in his mouth before he slept off. 😂 That was the exact moment he decided he wasn’t going back to that job again... even though salary week was just around the corner. The funniest part was the next morning. Around 9 a.m., he casually stepped into the sitting room and his parents almost had a heart attack. They thought they were seeing a ghost because it was so unusual for him to be home at that time. Some realities of living and working in Lagos are really not child’s play. 😅

Young Lagosian shows the different buses he takes to work and how much each one costs. When added together, his transport fare comes to almost ₦70,000 every month.

@iamexona @kunle_pata Let's assume he works in VI and staying at Let's Say Epe or somewhere around eleko Junction, where he pays 200k for rent on a monthly salary of 200k. Will he get the same type of house for 270k if he moves to places like Lekki or Ajah?

@kunle_pata @iamexona 70k * 12 = ₦840k annually. You can get a self contain within that range in Ogudu, Iyana Oworo. With that, you reduce the stress and the cost of transportation significantly. This is good for anyone working within Marina, VI, Ikoyi and Obalende axis.

During my NYSC, this Christian sister I didn't like very much called me and said she got a revelation. She said she was in a dream and she saw people gathered. She walked closer to see what was happening and it was a funeral. To her surprise, it was my funeral. She said her dreams always come to pass. She told me to please go and pray. Usually, I don't take things like that seriously but there was something about someone I don't even relate well with telling about something like this that made me take her serious. I told every member of my family, my parents and siblings, and asked them to pray for me. This was on a Sunday. They next week, on a Friday, I was returning from work. The okada I was on stopped and was waiting for a trailer that was a bit far away to pass so he could cross to the other side of the road, or so i thought. Suddenly as the trailer got close to us, this okada man entered the road! Gaskiya, i thought we were gone. I don't know what happened or how it happened but we were thrown into a partition at the other side of the road with very minor injuries. Till date, i believe the enemy planned that my life would end that day but God sent a warning. Thank God I took it seriously. They say things happen in the spiritual before they ever happen in the physical. It was that day I believed it.

@doctorwalesmd However, it is important to note that in this NNPC case, no ₦210T is missing. It is a case of offsetting two transactions. The net, which will be to the book of NNPC only stood at ₦4T.

@doctorwalesmd Let me buttress on No.4. If we have 14k fully equipped hospital, for 37 states (FCT inclusive), we will have 378 hospitals per state and possibly 8.4m professional jobs for people in the medical field at 3 staff per bed space + over 2m casual jobs such as cleaners, gatemen etc.

210 Trillion Naira is unaccounted for by the ex-NNPCL CEO. For the uninitiated, let me explain in context of how big 210 Trillion Naira is and what it can do for you and me. 1. The current national minimum wage is ₦70,000 per month. To legitimately earn ₦210 Trillion, a Nigerian earning this basic salary would have to work for 250 million years, and that’s assuming they did not spend a single kobo of their earnings.  Alternatively, you could use this money to pay the ₦70,000 minimum wage to 10 million Nigerians every single month for 25 straight years. 2. Depending on the market, a 50kg bag of rice currently averages around ₦60,000. With ₦210 Trillion, you could buy 3.5 billion bags of rice. Because Nigeria's population is roughly 230 million people, this means you could personally hand over 15 full 50kg bags of rice to every single man, woman, and child in the country. 3. If an average car has a 50-litre fuel tank, this amount of money would pay for 5.25 billion full tanks of fuel. You could fill up the tank of every single commercial bus and private vehicle in Nigeria every day for decades. 4. If we assume it costs about ₦15 Billion to build and fully equip a world-class, 200-bed modern general hospital, with 210 trillion you can build 14,000 of those hospitals. If it were to be PHCs, you could build 1.4 million clinics. 5. With 210 Trillion, you could build 105,000 kilometers of high class roads at 2 billion naira per kilometer. And if you started building a continuous highway from Lagos, 105,000 kilometres is long enough to wrap around the entire equator of the Earth two and a half times. Money has never been Nigerians problem. We are NOT poor.
