@isolatedrook That’s very easy for the haves to say. I’m level 94 and haven’t even seen a synapse cube. I love the game and put a lot of time in. Definitely not a casual but can’t see myself playing past a season if I can’t even max out my factions. There has to be a middle ground somewhere

@sorrytotweet @isolatedrook The jingle is not fine for average and below average players aka casuals. With no shot at better loot they will keep leaving the game and it will die. Not sure what the perfect solution is but the fact remains the playerbase is getting smaller by the day.

This take makes zero sense, If I want to sweat my ass off ill play ranked. Sbmm in an extraction shooter makes legit 0 sense. I legit have to wait like 5 min to que a perimeter game just to get lobbies across the planet. I'm all for sweaty games but not everywhere I que🙃

@sugifps_ Well that’s exactly how “Timmy’s” feel going against you and your crew every match. Everyone wants to be top 1% without having to play the top 1%. You are why there are very few casuals left in this game and it will only get worse as the last few leave. Enjoy!

When you get placed against the same people, for hours at a time, there is no sense of competition anymore and no tension because you know what they’re going to do and how they play making it predictable
If you think this is about “poaching timmys” then you are genuinely lost.

Bungie better fix this MM “bug” quickly or I guarantee it will affect a lot of the player base.
In Destiny 2, they would constantly implement SBMM and then pretend it was a “bug.” SBMM will genuinely ruin a game like Marathon. The queue times are unreal and payoff is terrible.

This was b4 the days where guys were making millions to stream though. Also b4 games cost $200-300M just to make. Blops 1-2 and MW 1-2 were the height of gaming to me

Should things not improve Tuesday I feel I'm left with the painful decision to stop putting in as much playtime. I understand there is a bug that is contributing to this, however I fear that Level-Based Matchmaking in combination with the Free Kit Queue is resulting in what feels like incredibly small player pools. Whether its Cryo or Marsh, I'm constantly matchmaking names I know. Things are no longer unpredictable, there isn't any more excitement to the unknown. Queue times are long and drawn out. Some players queuing in with pre-made teams. I'm often faced with full end-game top teams repeatedly, regardless of if I'm loading in with Green reinforced shields for an eco run (I frequently use credits/armory builds), or a Gold loadout. I'm frequently running into familiar faces that b/c we can see its them (no streamer mode/anonymity), play differently or are all inclined to be friendly out of respect - I'm sure many players (myself included) play differently based on names they might see. This is dismantling my enjoyment of high highs and low lows, and hindering the gameplay loop for me. I'm someone who doesn't burn out of what I love - and I've been having such a phenomenal time with the community. However its hard not to get exhausted and worn out with this experience, especially with some folks skewing my words back at me about it.

What people are complaining about is being put into 250ms ping servers after waiting for 10 minutes and then more than likely getting cheaters on top of that if they don’t get put on 200 ping.

@ArcStars4Jesus @aiiygatorz I’m level 93 and haven’t even seen a synapse cube. We get destroyed within 2 mins even trying Cryo. I’m ok with this up until the point I start seeing all the streamers crying about SBMM when their vaults are full of gold shit the average player will never see.

@aiiygatorz Well maybe you specifically aren’t crying but a bunch of other streamers and content creators are whining cause they think SBMM has been introduced. As an average player it’s frustrating seeing the top players cry cause they can’t win 100% of the time.
