I’ve seen a few people making self-intro posts recently and I figured I’d make one since I hadn’t before and it’s a good way to reach out. Anyways, hello, I’m Saber. (I’m not publically posting my real name.) I have been a Christian most of my life and grew up in church, 🧵

The Lord is always good and so worthy of praise! Whether in the good or bad times, He hears us and gives us exactly what we need. My mom’s surgery went super well. We are still in the stages of making sure no complications, bleeding or infections are happening but hopefully she’ll be out in a couple days depending on how well she walks, pain management and physical therapy right after. Poor thing was super scared earlier though she knew she was in God’s arms. Right when the surgery ended and we were in the consultation room waiting to talk to the surgeon. My brother and I were of course cracking jokes and just chatting it up since we knew she was doing ok. He was making fun of me and I was responding as you’d think I would. 🤭 He then got up and started pretend strangling me and I was laughing so hard I’m sure everyone in the surgery area heard me. I was saying, “bro stop! He’s gonna walk in and see you strangling me it’s gonna be crazy looking!!! They’ll think you’re killing me and call the cops!” He didn’t care. I was tortured. He always makes me laugh when I’m nervous. But thankfully the doc didn’t come in then and it wasn’t an issue. lol. *takes deep breath* My life is always full of energy. Sometimes good, bad or both but it’s never boring I can tell you that!!!! 🤣 Thanks for the prayers. She’s still not out of the woods yet but doing well now. I appreciate you all!

As a Christian you should desire to marry someone who has kept themselves for marriage. That is because that is how things ought to be, that is what is good. As a Christian, you should not desire to marry someone with sexual "experience" just for the sake of it. However, if you love someone who has sin in their past and that's what God is calling you to, that is a beautiful, holy, and redeeming thing. Those who have sinned sexually in the past are made new in Christ. That is not their identity anymore - they have been born again. Excuse the coarse language, but to refer to people who have sinned and repented of the sin as "hoes" is to completely disregard the restorative power of Jesus' blood and to make nothing His sacrifice. We are all a new creation in Christ. We are no longer fornicators, liars, thieves, etc etc. We are children of God.

I’ve seen an awful lot of people seeming to doubt the redemptive power of Christ the past few days and it makes me sad to see. Anyone that truly repents and follows Him is forgiven of their sin regardless of what it is. A lot of people on this site need to reread Col 2:13-14.

So here’s a prayer update and praise report for my mama: She’s gonna be having surgery at 1:00pm MST today so please pray for her. Praise report is that I took to the closest hospital to her PCP that we’ve never been to before. At first it seemed not so great and I almost said, “mom let’s go across town to your old hospital. Before I could, they took her back and though it literally took 7 hours in the ER to get her in, at 12:00am we finally had her situated. Everyone has been AMAZING. And we asked who her surgeon was and they said it was the surgeon on call who was her surgeon for her other broken hip 6 years ago! He’s a stellar man who truly cared and took excellent care of her! I’m so blessed for that. We had no idea he also did his work at this hospital. I mean, they’re in the same network but what are the odds that he’d be here today?! God is good!!!!! So thank you for the prayers my peeps. May God bless her and take care of her and my family.

@LegendaryNATS Idk why people have beef with me. I bring biblical scriptures to the table in biblical conversations I have, yet I am some *insert explicit word here*. Bro, I don't get it. At this point, all I can do is pray for these people and laugh.

It's interestingly sad to see how many are looking to bash those like Strawb, LadyLaurk, and others; all because of the post that Trevor shared of his wife. Firstly, let's go over this: if you believe that because you chose the "virgin" to be your wife that you're infinitely better than those who have chosen a woman who was not a "virgin" then, oh boy, I am afraid you don't even understand who the bride of Christ is. We are the whore, the church, is a whore and Christ chose us. Secondly, let's stop with the whole deflection of ones sin. We all know that, as men, the things you have thought is infinitely worse than what others has done. Paul Washer has stated that if we were to hook a projector up to our minds, we would make the most devious things in the world look palpable. There's reason why Christ added this little bit in Matthew 22, Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, MIND, and strength. Our minds are wicked. Our lust for money, power, sex; is devious. Lust is more than in the body but in the mind. We can say all of the right and righteous things but if our hearts and minds are debased, what does it matter. Be thankful for the ever loving and redemptive blood of Christ that can change hearts and minds. Pride is the root of all sin, you dont commit any sin without pride. And remember what Colissians 3 tells us. Colossians 3:1-17 LSB [1] Therefore, if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. [2] Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. [3] For you died and your life has been hidden with Christ in God. [5] Therefore, consider the members of your earthly body as dead to sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry.
