@DSpence94 I have a (valid and my srcom link) 36-hour speedrun. I have to use a third of my allotment for that? Forget doing subathons also I guess.

I'm one of the lucky ones that doesn't highlight often or auto uploads to YT. But this is ridiculous, I know people who have done 72hr streams and all sorts that they now have to sort out. Pisstake.

We had a runner in the TLG community pass away and there's nothing we can do to save his stuff on his own channel? Come on.

@UpATreeZelda Hey, this information is given in the first image: "If you are still over 100 hours after 4/19, we will begin deleting Highlights & Uploads for you, starting with your least viewed highlights."

We’re implementing a 100 hr storage limit for Highlights & Uploads starting 4/19. This won’t apply to Past Broadcasts (VODs) or clips. Less than 0.5% of streamers exceed 100hrs & this content accounts for <0.1% of hours watched. Users will be notified. link.twitch.tv/storage

Fuck you @Twitch @TwitchSupport I have 17 YEARS worth of Highlights/VODs dating back to 2008 on my JustinTV streams and now I have to cherry pick through all of it to save only 100 hours of content? That will continue to be deleted as I continue to stream and save newer VODs? I’ve also discovered tons of channels by searching old highlights especially on more obscure games that aren’t streamed often. That’s fine, continue to invest into your brain rot Clips feature thinking you can actually compete with YouTube shorts or TikTok. This is your WORST UPDATE EVER!
