@AirMaxL4 @Wario64 They arent. I can play my entire collection without having to connect to the internet once. Ubisoft os one of the few with the awful practice.

@mcquack306 I only buy physical games for my switch 2 and ps5. No game key cards, or ps5 games that REQUIRE downloads to play.

Anyone else still use physical games on Switch 2?

@Chris_TV_Live I did the same. Avoided getting the ps5 version, and when the ps4 version was announced, i waited to see if it had the same issue, since it didnt, i bought it right away.

Even if a version of a game is inferior to all other versions on a technical level, if it’s the only version that’s fully playable offline, in my eyes that’s the superior version. For example I avoided Jedi Survivor on PS5 because it required internet and bought PS4 version.

@kikegames97 Coincido. Se necesita implementar logros/trofeos/medallas o el sistema que se les ocurra para incentivar la rejugabilidad u horas adicionales en sus juegos, además de mejorar inclusive el despliegue de los juegos jugados de cada jugador (y no ese vago resumen de horas del perfil)

🏆 ¿Creéis que algún día NINTENDO dejará de ser tan VAGA y escuchará a su comunidad para implementar logros o trofeos? No me vengáis con que no es por vaquería, con que no es la filosofía de Nintendo o que no quiere que juegues por completar cosas porque: 1. En muchos de sus juegos meten estos logros internamente. 2. La mayoría de los juegos de Nintendo se basan en: Recoge 999 estrellas, 999 bananzas, completa la Pokédex, encuentra 999 Kollogs… 3. Los temas no los meten tampoco por que no les da la gana, no por que no entren en la filosofía de Nintendo. Estuvieron en anteriores consolas y con Switch no quieren currárselo ni monetizándolo. Ahorraos también lo de “es que YO no los necesito por tanto no quiero que los metan” ya Jose Manuel, son opcionales y están para quien los quiera, no muerden ni hacen daño a nadie. Que nos den más nunca estará mal.

@erick_feiling @Nin10manKFD Sure, but the game is on the disc, you dont need to download it. Only the dlc a download. Game key cards have no game in them at all, just the files to let the console know it can download the game.

@Nin10manKFD I do. I don't buy those games. Really wanted Doom the dark ages, but decided to skip when it was finally confirmed that the game wasnt on the disc. Same for indiana jones on the ps5. If the switch 2 version of indy is fully on cart like they said, i'll buy it.

What's funny about the anti GKC crowd they never seem to call out this happening on the other platforms.

Guys don't gaslight yourselves into thinking this game was good or misremembering it. There were loadscreens every minute in space, the story was very mid, the systems were flawed, and the good/evil stuff didn't matter. It was also jank. I want it to be better though fr

Hello @SEGA , this is a Sega fan speaking. A die-hard fan who still owns Master System games. On the left is the ONLY Sega game I've ever bought on Switch 2: Sonic Racing Crossworld for €65. On the right are all the games I would have bought if you had offered them as full cartridges. I would have spent over €600. You've lost over €500 just from me by choosing to release your games as game key cards. Don't you think it's time to take action? Because I'm far from the only one...

@Apone6981 @IdleSloth84_ And for me, it was crap. God awful writing, horrible exploration with so many planets full of nothing, forgetable quests and characters, etc... the only good things are the visuals and the gunplay, and thats it, and the gunplay alone isnt enough to carry it.

@Xtremsky59 @RetroGameFutur1 @SEGA Difference is, most day 1 patches are not really necessary at all. I can play basically my entire ps games collection without updating at all, and never found issues. And not, playstation havent been doing the same. You buy their games, they come on the disc.

@ChrisHarte7 Ok, you are right, the previous patch that added the new performance mode and removed framegen did use pssr. Sorry. I think i prefer to keep the balance mode still. They removed Lumen with the new performance mode, and the lighting looks much worse.

@Sabrak0096 The performance mode in Wukong is what I’m using, I used to try performance mode before the PSSR 2.0 update and it always looked blurry and incomplete. Now the performance mode looks incredible and has a much higher FPS count than balanced mode….. PSSR 2.0 seems to be working
