A video shows someone walking along the outside of a storefront and noticing something odd on a large window. Up close, it looks like someone drew a brick pattern across the glass with a white marker or chalk, making it appear as if the window had been “bricked up.” As the camera moves closer, the person points out that the design almost blends with the background, creating a strange visual illusion. But when the camera shifts to the side, you can see the glass is still there, only the drawing makes it look like a solid wall. Simple visual tricks can be surprisingly convincing. A few lines in the right place can completely change how we interpret what we’re seeing. It’s a good reminder that our eyes, and sometimes our assumptions, can be easier to fool than we think. If you were walking by, would you immediately realize it was just a drawing on glass, or would the illusion fool you for a moment?

This couple was out jogging with their new “jogging/hiking stroller” when the mother went off a small curb. As you can see in the video, the stroller did not flex for the drop and flipped over. It was advertised that it could and is labeled as a hiking-capable stroller. So, is this the manufacturer’s or company’s fault for false advertising, or should the mother not have tried to go off a curb? At what point should companies be held responsible if their product doesn’t hold up to what they’ve advertised it would!
