.@SacBeeGuild has been negotiating with McClatchy for fair pay/higher salaries for months.
Today, McClatchy countered with an offer that still leaves our lowest paid reporters (who are majority BIPOC and or women), struggling financially.
We demand better.

Members of the Guild decided to strike with an overwhelming majority of support — 91% of signed members — because of @mcclatchy’s continued refusal to bargain in good faith.
