@TeamAbra87 Sounds like I'm being subtweeted: They were starting to get boring and repetitive. It felt like no one disagreed & everyone had the same consensus even when they turned out to be wrong And most players are so specialized on one deck now they can't talk about most of the format

I understand why no one really does them anymore, but I miss the pre-Regionals meta discussion videos people used to make 🫤

My toxic trait is buying cards after roughly 30 seconds of metagame theory in my head and then testing them and they are of course rubbish. What's yours?

Had some time so looked at the top 64 Worlds finishers from NA and their ranking on the Championship Point leaderboard last season. Only 3 players were outside of top 125 (Cameron Kawasaki and Chris Franco), the 3rd was Vance Kelley (558 points) who had an auto invite

@Th3Jo3 If things are OHKOing you, I think that's a bad matchup anyway BUT there are three solid options: Mela Neo Upper Thin Charizard ex line

Xatu or Pidgeot in Dragapult? I liken it to choosing between heavy Bibarel and Pidgeot in Charizard. I think early lists will try to play Xatu but Pidgeot based lists will become the standard over time.

I'm officially UNEMPLOYED. I was impacted by layoffs from the company I've been with for 6 years. I'll be ok, Ive prepared for this the past year. It honestly just feels weird that this is the end of a chapter of my life. To no longer be a Chemical Engineer. I'm going to use this free time to focus on... Pokemon! Get back into streaming and actually get to work on long form content. It feels scary to move to something unconventional, but with my family being fully supportive gives me the courage to believe we can make it happen! Just wanted to make a post about whats been on my mind the past couple of months and explain why you might be seeing more of me 😅 thanks for listening!

Eri is pretty lame isn't it. Sometimes they get lucky and just discard all of the rare candies or SERs or something that aren't in your prizes and just win on T1. What is even the defence against it? Don't play decks with those cards in? Take the L? Just feels cheap
