I apologize for how long this bs about to be. So this is how I see it. Reluctantly, I wanna say this team can still win 90 games. I feel like so many guys are cold right now, all at the same time. If even 3-4 of these guys could hit like Amaya, we would be in business. With a lackluster offense and okay pitching aside from a stellar start from Cabrera, we have been losing/blowing these leads thanks to a terrible bullpen. I know this post is mostly wishful thinking, but if we get a PCA that was even a tad like his start from last year, a solid Busch, Dansby, & Bregman. Coupled with a healthy Suzuki, improving Shaw/Baller. Call up Alacantara and say by to Confarto. We could be a threat. You add in a dominant Palencia and I think 90+ could happen. But hey, I'm just late night ranting on a bunch of 'if's'. We can just as easily be a last place team with Shota and Jamo throwing BP. Horton and Steele living on the IL and tearing our hair out as we watch Happ get another golden sombrero or watch PCA go down on strikes after only 3 pitches 😭😂
