@HQNewsNow Yet people still don’t believe he called captured soldiers suckers and losers. He says this type of shit regularly. Absolutely bonkers that “conservatives” put up with this BS.
Trump says the Presidential Medal of Freedom is “much better” than the Congressional Medal of Honor because the Medal of Honor is for people who are “in very bad shape because they've been hit so many times by bullets or they're dead” while the Medal of Freedom is for “healthy, beautiful” people
@tomhaberstroh Can we let him finish a playoffs before anointing him? The final test of the top players is if you can get through a whole playoffs consistently playing at that level without getting hurt.
Why are we changing the rules here?
Wemby is one made FT away from shooting 50/40/90 against the defending champs while averaging
30.3 points
13.3 rebounds
4.3 assists
3.0 blocks
He's a series-best +50. In his first playoff run. BPITFW.
Max Strus sent a group text message to his Cavs teammates before game 5:
“If you don’t believe, don’t show up for work.”
Max Strus went 0/9 and the Cavs were ELIMINATED
😭😭😭
Jake “The Snake” Roberts tells the wild story of the infamous Cobra bite incident involving “Macho Man” Randy Savage, complete with his best Macho Man impression.
During an interview, Roberts revealed that he pitched the idea of a snakebite on live TV to advance their ongoing rivalry. Savage initially refused unless he had absolute proof that the stunt was safe.
Savage demanded that Jake let the cobra bite his own leg first to prove the venom sacs had been removed. Roberts pulled down his pants and let the snake bite him.
Savage then made Jake sit in the locker room for 30 minutes to ensure he did not collapse or die from venom before finally agreeing to the angle.
@spurs_og@DamienPetersNBA You do need some size (and strength) on defense. Look how ineffective he’s been in the paint since Hartenstein has played more. (I do realize he was getting held like crazy in game 2). Part of it was just they didn’t give him the ball in the 4th qtr which made no sense.
@DamienPetersNBA I said it all year. You beat the Spurs with shooters who can make wide open shots. Teams are foolish to think they need size to beat Wemby. It’s actually brilliant coaching by OKC.
Unpopular opinion: Wemby’s perimeter defense is a little overrated against wings and guards. He’s often out of control when closing out. He gets blown by often. He’s not necessarily elite side to side or up and down. He bites a lot on pump fakes. His recovery is excellent because he’s so long and he still deters an attempt at the rim quite often, but by that time the Spurs are already in the blender and it usually ends in a good look that is born from that initial action.
@Egavaselpmis@SpikeEskin If you have better players coming off the bench then you can play them. If you have no depth like Sixers you can go 3 quarters with zero bench points.
@SpikeEskin Sixer lost on game vs knocks by single digits. He took 21 shots in 19 minutes. He washt getting 21 shots off the bench. Thunder play 10 even in playoffs. Most teams in league 10 guys never see 20 minutes even in reg season.
Jared McCain (who isn't going to even play in the playoffs), with 24 pts, 4 rbs and 1 ast in 27 minutes in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.
Don't be bothered by this, as he wouldn't have even played for the Sixers due to their glut of guards.
@FootballCravee You’re a fool if you think most of the NFL doesn’t support conservative values. Hard work + nothing given does not resonate with the entitled liberal mindset
Jaxson Dart was asked if he was concerned he’ll lose support for supporting Donald Trump:
“I don’t think many blue hairs watch the NFL if we’re being honest.”
@KOT4Q They were up 15-0 to start the game with only 4 minutes in so Mitch Johnson thought that would we a great time to bench his best player then okc were able to get into a great rhythm and came roaring back to be up like 26-23
Feels like the right time to bring this back. Here’s Alex Caruso talking about guarding Wemby a few months ago:
“Offensively, he’s still really raw. If he gets within five feet of the basket, he can just dunk it, or grab it and put it in, so just working early. Against any person who is a big and good in the league you try and do your work early and get them away from the basket. And then, his length is an issue, but he’s not as strong as Giannis or Jokic, or Sengun or KD, even, who can get to a spot and still be in balance”

The Golden State Warriors with Kevin Durant felt unbeatable. The Oklahoma City Thunder don’t feel like that. I know OKC are historic in their own right, but they aren’t comparable to me.
@DamienPetersNBA 1969 Lakers, 1983 Sixers, 1986 Celtics, 1987 Lakers, ‘96 Bulls, ‘01 Lakers and 2014 Spurs are all extremely difficult matchups for the Warriors.
@DamienPetersNBA They never were. One title doesn’t earn you that.
Kevin Durant Warriors teams are the best of all time. They could face any team in history and win. The only perfect team we’ve ever seen.
