There is one important legal difference between Dogs and Cats... Cats are by law free spirits, dogs aren't. You're liable for your dog's behaviour if it causes damage or injury to other people or property. So always check pet insurance has 3rd-party cover (if not as a min get it standalone from @DogsTrust). You're not usually liable for a cats behaviour. Feel free to share.

I'm heartbroken to share the news that we lost our beautiful Laura in the early hours of this morning. She was fierce & tenacious to the end & it was truly the honour of my life to be her mum. We are devastated at the thought of life without our girl, she was a force of nature💔

Pushed the sofa over to the hospital bed so we can take turns lying next to Laura & holding her hand. She’s having lots of seizure activity now & I can’t bear the thought of her feeling frightened or alone. I can’t actually bear any of this. How is it possible to be this sad?
