Dear Nigerian drivers, do you know that vehicles on the roundabout have RIGHT OF WAY? Vehicles already on the R/A has priority over the ones entering the R/A. Your colleagues in all other countries said i should tell you! #RoadSafety #Safety9ja #Nigeria

I had been praying for a particular work deal to come through, so I told my beloved about it. Today it was successful, so I told her the good news. She jumped up in happiness… ❤️. But that felt suspicious btw..🌚

If your state government is truly ready to solve its power challenges, we can partner to deliver an Independent Power Project (IPP) through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) on a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model. With the right policy support and commitment, your state can achieve guaranteed 24/7 power supply, drive industrial growth, attract investment, and significantly improve quality of life for residents. Reliable electricity is no longer a dream, it is a decision.

The amount of solid waste generated in Ibadan should be enough to generate 5-8 megawatts, the gas from landfill in Awotan or so should be enough for another 3MW. But only if the government is serious.
RAY 🌊@SlimmytiNY

OYO state must explore the possibility of building its own power infrastructure, the light in Ibadan and other part of OYO state is the worst in the whole of SW, I have lived everywhere in the SW no place has a bad electricity like OYO state. Self sustainability now👌👌

Whenever I see these black ropes on the road, it reminds me of an egbon adugbo back then (ca. 1997) who went to the UK on visit, and told us how he was able to get a minimum wage job while on temporary visit. The job was basically for him to count how many vehicles that passed by, and the exact time they did, over a period of 10-hour shift. Why counting? Egbon had no clue. But he just told us how Oyinbo was flippant, and "wasting money" on something that had no value. He told us how he dozed off on duty and had to fabricate figures in the record sheet. In egbon's words..."oyinbo go gan", dem no get brain...na only money dem get". Egbon bought a Sean John t-shirt and baggy pants with his wage. Sean John was a big brand back then. We were intimidated. About a decade later when I left Nigeria and attended an engineering exhibition, a sales engineer explained how his "rope" can generate &analyse various traffic data accurately, instead of manually recording traffic flow. That sales pitch struck me! I asked what does manual recording looks like, and he described exactly what egbon told us in 1997! He said it was primitive, inaccurate and mostly done by undocumented immigrants. But it had a purpose, contrary to what egbon thought. Ladies and gentlemen, this rope is called road tubes or traffic counter, used in traffic data acquisition/survey. It is used to record the flow of car, trucks, motorcycle, etc in a given area. The data is often needed to know the traffic density and thus determine where to put speed bumps, or traffic lights or how to divert the road or how many people would be affected if the road is closed for construction among others. It's a crucial part of safety planning that should be done before a road is diverted or re-constructed or upgraded. What you dont know is more than you.

@SafetyOneng Well, you question was to test if AI can answer it, I only confirmed to you that it will do so effortlessly. I don't expect any competent auditor to us AI response for real life. The original post was sharing his experience abt using AI to prepare for exam, which is also not bad.

Good, so a quick question for you: TEAM A vs TEAM B During the 1st leg of football match, 3 people lost their lives due to stampede when TEAM A's home fans started a protest in reaction to losing at home. TEAM A's fans are known to be generally violent. So during the 2nd leg, the football administrator hired more stewards to control crowd even though there were less fans of TEAM A present. Sadly the 2nd leg ended in a draw, making team A to lose out of the tournament. Defeated and bereaved, TEAM A fans staged up a riot that claimed a life of TEAM B's fans, before they were eventually were outnumbered. Q1: As a lead auditor of ISO45001, what's your statement of non-conformance for the incident in para 1, with reference to the clause of the standard. Q2: Evaluating the effort of the football administrator in preventing the accident. Use relevant clauses to back your evaluation.
Ohm@OhmQHSE

I’ve been using Google Gemini to prepare for my upcoming ISO45001 examination and it has been really great — providing quiz-like multiple choice questions.
