It’s that time of year where I pay to sign up and get yelled at by parents, coaches, athletes. Best part is in Iowa I get to pay both the @IGHSAU and @IHSAA $50 a piece…and we wonder why no one wants to officiate. But most schools will give me a water - so I have that at least.

Today we were able to host a 23 team tournament for girls wrestling for our high school team. What amazing support in the community of Mason City to have so many people working to make the event a success for the athletes. We also had great officials who worked hard.
