@SadiqDorasat Salaam, this tweet just popped up on my timeline. Not sure if you’re seeking advice atm but I’m a charity solicitor and really love the work that you guys are doing at Muslim Census and would be happy to talk you through registering as a charity or CIC etc.

We submitted a very strong proposal, went through to the final stages but just fell short. Alhamdulillah I’ve learnt a lot from the experience but one of the biggest things is realising the potential of MC. We kind of just need to decide whether to be a charity or not.

I’m normally quick to share the successes of @MuslimCensus but at times, it’s good to share some Ls. Amazingly, we were in the running to receive a very sizeable grant to support the community work we do with Muslim Census but, unfortunately, we didn’t get it 🥲
