Being neurodivergent is noticing patterns early, warning people, being ignored, then watching exactly what you predicted happen months later. By then, everyone acts like it was obvious all along, and nobody remembers you called it first. It’s a uniquely frustrating experience.

@Savage16May Because our parks are over run with foreigners. Shouldn't the people who are born somewhere get subsidized access to our own parks?

Loved everything about the United States on this vacation especially the hospitality and kindness we received in all 16 States visited . One thing I was shocked by though was the price to purchase a year round national park pass. It's $80 US if you're American $240 US if you're Canadian. Last year it was $80 for everyone. This is new. It wasn't this way last year. Why did the price more than triple for foreigners ?

Lindsey Graham reportedly died from an aortic dissection. My aunt also died from an aortic dissection after catching COVID — she was unvaccinated. I also knew a young, fit 29-year-old man who died from an aortic dissection just weeks after catching COVID. He was unvaccinated as well. On the other side, I know people who suffered fatal aortic dissections shortly after vaccination. Is anyone connecting the dots? To be clear, I believe both COVID and the vaccines are causing serious harm in some individuals. Based on what I’ve personally witnessed and experienced, I believe the vaccines have caused more harm than many are willing to acknowledge.

@TradAdvocate Even then. It would just be reverse-eugenics, or poorly executed eugenics.

Eugenics isn't inherently evil. It can be achieved through totally non-violent means in a way that can benefit people of all races. One way of doing it would be to adopt a cultural norm in which intelligent people (especially young women) are encouraged to get married young and have large families. The current social norm in Western countries is the opposite and is actually dysgenic: due to feminist influences, the smartest young women are pressured to go to college and enter demanding careers, which delays marriage and reduces the number of children they have on average compared to less intelligent women. People understandably have a knee-jerk reaction against any form of eugenics because they associate it with Nazis and mass murder, but there's no reason to have a negative view of voluntary forms of eugenics. Jews themselves are one of the groups that had a form of voluntary eugenics for many centuries. They rewarded scholarly achievement with better marriages and larger families among the intellectually gifted. This likely raised their group average IQ by 10-15 points across many generations, all with no coercion or violence involved. People of all races could adopt these kinds of cultural values/norms, raising their average IQs over time and enabling them to improve their living standards, since population IQ and standard of living are highly positively correlated (around 0.7-0.8 across nations).

My UFC credential has already been revoked so I’ve got nothing to lose. Here’s the truth: Conor & team informed Dana earlier in the week that he had a knee injury. Dana told them the show MUST go on. No refunds. Because of the financial implications McGregor was forced to try. People inside became aware that McGregor was comprised, and THAT’S why the betting line moved significantly prior to walkouts. But since in excess of 80% + of the bets AND money legally wagered were on McGregor, this allowed the UFC’s sportsbook partners to win tens of millions in profit from unsuspecting (and uninformed) customers. Shameful and disgusting business practice for the sake of pure greed, all at the expense of their own fans.

It’s Sunday night. The 9 to 5 slave crowd is preparing for yet another meaningless week of work that does nothing to benefit them, all for an employer that’s probably getting ready to fire them anyway. Being a 9 to 5 slave is essentially worse than being a convict rotting in prison.

The same dog raised in different ways will behave differently. It's not always about genes. But different breeds have different tendencies. This post isn't about dogs.

One thing I had to rapidly unlearn when moving from the US to Spain was how NOT to treat women here like the enemy. Most women here really aren't adversarial, playing games, or angling to pull a fast one over you... unlike American girls. I guess when even dinner first dates are uncommon and marriage even less so, there's really nothing to angle for. What are they going to do, block out 1 whole evening and dress up and commute all the way just for a lousy €3 glass of house wine? People here just date more sincerely because there's nothing concrete to gain. I'm not saying European girls don't have their issues. They can be erratic and flakey and needy, among other faults. But they're definitely not adversarial or mercenary, at least not to the same degree as American or Asian women. I came in here with my guns loaded and my knives sharpened, but then I realized nobody is really doing battle. People really are just living their own regular full lives, and, if they have the capacity and interest, they'll fit you right in. No need for arms. Just be human. You can't do that in the US, you'll get killed.

@McClureShawn Evolution is documented with crabs that were hunted for certain patterns (I forget where) and some type of fish or water creatures in Florida more recently. It doesn't rule out Creation either tho. Darwin had complete believe in God.

Evolution has been directly observed in laboratories, hospitals, farms and wild populations—resistance, altered metabolism, reproductive isolation and new ecological functions arise through documented genetic change. "No one has seen evolution" is an ignorant, desperate strawman.
