I feel like we've both made good points, even some of yours were enough to make me change my stance a little bit, but at the end of the day, the playoff is the most important part of the season of CFB to me, and for you, its not.

So really we’d be leaving out just 2 of the 4 you mentioned. The solution should be, win your regular season games. Not expand the safety net. IMO

Damn is it fun to watch certain national sports media person(s) making a huge assumption about the 24 team model, going so far as to call it a participation trophy. Especially for someone whom loves to imagine himself as Commissioner, he seems painfully out of touch.

@tongantorpedo1 @eSECpn Notre Dame lost by a combined number 4 points to two teams that both made the playoff, and one of those teams made it to the national title game. Given how hot they were by the end of the year going on a 10 game run, I highly doubt that game is a blowout

@allcanesallday @ImmaculateView @JoshPateCFB I mean yeah there will be blowouts, but you'll also have teams like Miami, Ole Miss, Ohio St, etc. Making runs. (And with 16 teams you wouldve seen Notre Dame, BYU, Vanderbilt, and Texas potentially making runs too)

@SageofSparda @ImmaculateView @JoshPateCFB I think I’d live with 16, but it’s still too many. We had playoff teams that made it get destroyed by Indiana. So even the teams we agreed should be in the playoff still had a sizable fap between them.

However, whats most likely gonna happen is the P2 and G6 splitting off, and if that does happen, then 16 teams is fine with me.

They lost lsville snd SMU by one score. Lsville had 4 interceptions. SMU had loads of penalties and most of them were absolutely outrageous.

TN wasnt even ranked by the end of the season and yet Georgia was seeded number 3. So yeah, i think number 24 could definitely make a run if they get hot
