Baha’i Cemetery in Rafsanjan Targeted by Authorities The Rafsanjan Bahá’í cemetery has been under official attack by local authorities, who claim that the spacing between existing graves is too wide and are now forcing Bahá’ís to bury their loved ones in the limited gaps between them. Authorities have further restricted the cemetery’s use by digging a trench around the graves, blocking access for excavation equipment. They have also imposed discriminatory burial fees, despite the Bahá’í community covering all associated costs. The site, allocated in 2001, still lacks basic infrastructure due to repeated denial of construction permits. That so many people came to Twitter because their Facebook is down and they were concerned they might have been hacked makes me feel so seen
