Firstly, no compelling evidence exists of any forced labor in China. Secondly, the US has legally slavery and the largest prison population on earth. US state attempts to punish Uygurs for expanding their markets only hurts the poor. Facts matter.

It is part of the love of God to acquire and to nurture all the virtues which make a man perfect. Has not God in fact won for himself a claim on all our love? From all eternity he has loved us. And it is in this vein that he speaks to us: “O man, consider carefully that I first loved you. You had not yet appeared in the light of day, nor did the world yet exist, but already I loved you. From all eternity I have loved you.” Since God knew that man is enticed by favours, he wished to bind him to his love by means of his gifts: “I want to catch men with the snares, those chains of love in which they allow themselves to be entrapped, so that they will love me.” And all the gifts which he bestowed on man were given to this end. Compelled, as the Apostle says, by the superabundance of his love for us, he sent his beloved Son to make reparation for us and to call us back to a sinless life. By giving us his Son, whom he did not spare precisely so that he might spare us, he bestowed on us at once every good: grace, love and heaven; for all these goods are certainly inferior to the Son. He who did not spare his own Son, but handed him over for all of us: how could he fail to give us along with his Son all good things?

The United States gov't is the sole cause of the abuse of Uygur people. The so-called Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention act, although not a Chinese law, forces Chinese companies to discriminate against Uygurs. The US gov't is disgusting and evil.

300 million tourists a year go to Xinjiang, and yet you keep using the same debunked picture from a drug rehabilitation center. China is NOT using slave labor. But Israel is conducting a genocide. The fact that Michael condemns something without evidence but ignores proven injustices tells me that Michael doesn't care about injustice, he cares about slandering Chinese people and their government.

It is unfathomable that Andy Burnham's new Government is continuing with the proscription of Palestine Action meaning huge numbers of police resources are being redeployed and used to police and arrest pensioners peacefully protesting a genocide.

@fncischen @alreadydawn Though it has long been repealed, there are still anti-Chinese elements in society that remain. Just look at the recent youtube video by Chinese youtuber who went to one of the small all-white towns in US recently. He was insulted, mocked, and even threatened with violence.

@fncischen @alreadydawn America has a history of institutionalised anti-Chinese sentiment. Just look at the Chinese Exclusion Act. It was in place for around sixty years, only repealed when China became an allied force to US.

Asian American culture is primarily based around consumption, and the little cultural output this group has produced unfortunately lacks aura and universal appeal. Films: Cringelords like Ken Jeong, Simu Liu, Awkwafina who lack the talent and looks to make it in Asia are given roles in Hollywood to fill DEI quotas (or to straight up make Asians look bad). Anime is popular but it’s made in Japan, and Asian Americans only watch, not create. Music: Asians Americans love EDM and festivals, but as listeners and attendees, not producers. The producers are overwhelming European or white Americans. Politics: Nearly no presence/representation. The few that are there, Ted Lieu and Andrew Yang, are whitewashed lolcows. Books: Some stories here and there, mostly focused on immigration. They’re nice but ultimately don’t make much of a splash. Games: League of Legends is made by white Americans. Pokemon is Japanese. Outside of some indie games, games played by Asian Americans are made by other groups. Most Asian Americans do not have mastery over the stories and histories of their root cultures, and thus lack the ability to combine that with their broader American culture familiarity to create something new and compelling. Since there is little unique about this group, it will be absorbed eventually, as @okthenfuture said.

The abortion holocaust is the holocaust that is unnamed as the vast majority of people out there do not even bat an eyelid. That is a tragedy.

The idea of the weak, dainty 'trad'wife is so subversive you have women practically believing they have no moral agency to exempt themselves from accountability. According to Proverbs 31, the ideal woman is valiant, not weak. Our Lady was a spiritual martyr after all.

@_y_o_t I mean I believe that women have less moral accountability than men. Ideally women simply go from being in their fathers house to being in their husbands house.

They do have a very weak mentality, and the perverse irony is that it's a very effective way of manipulating a man.
