@ChiChi_Verse If you read the DB Super manga you'd know that Goku was stuck on "greater power" he fell into a habit of it. After attaining form after form it makes sense he'd lose sight of the teachings he learned decades ago

@ChiChi_Verse When has Goku had this flaw in DBZ though? He started gaining unimaginable power after the Cell Saga then kept gaining more after that in DB Super. Even when Whis was explaining to him he wasn't fully convinced. It's normal to make the same mistakes multiple times

@TwinMoonEmperor Vegeta is praised for his development but it took him all of DBZ and the later parts of DB Super to finally figure out that he had to take a different path from Goku, he was blinded for YEARS making the same mistakes. There is nothing wrong with making the same mistakes

@TwinMoonEmperor Literally just said that it's a habit that is hard to let go of. It gives Goku more character and he becomes more relatable since he wasn't fully convinced of Whis explaination. To me this is a plus for Goku's character

@TwinMoonEmperor In the manga Goku still uses his intelligence against Hit but once again falls into the habit of pure power since he faced off a fusion Zamasu with mastered SSJ Blue which had overwhelming power. Just because you make the same mistakes doesn't mean that it's bad writing
