@akkhan81 @AribaShahid I agree. Punjabi doesn’t have a sound for ژ, and that shouldn’t be so difficult for people to understand. The French ‘r’, for instance, doesn’t sound anything like the English ‘r’... the nearest approximation of French ‘r’ is the Arabic ‘kh’ or German ‘ch’.

I dont want to sound judgmental. I'm just genuinely curious. Why do some Pakistanis call "measure" mayyar? Why cant they make the zher sound?
