@Gwani_bukhari This would be against God's perfection. Every sin causes evil. And this evil can't be trully overcome without good greater than commited sin. That is why sacrifice is neccesary. Don't muslim sacrifice animals for their sins? And can really animal sacrifice repay for human sins?

Islam: You sin. You're accountable for it. You repent. God forgives you. Christianity: You sin. So an innocent guy whom they think is God and sinless, has to sacrifice himself (to himself) to save you from himself. He himself couldn't just forgive you willingly,he had to punish himself.

@JR3q02 @MakiTheSalafi Do Jews believe that being endowed with a spirit means that the 3rd person of the trinity is aiding them? No. What youre doing is taking a later theology that is rejected by Jews & back projecting it into their scripture. They never believed that ever, there is no history of it.

@SalHumbles @MakiTheSalafi No, that’s a Christian interpretation. But the plural nature of God is seen in other OT books like Isaiah 48:16.

Why did the biblical God permit honor killings?

@manukord @PhDniX Could just be the order they memorized or learned them in. You could posit many theories as to why but I don't think it's relevant. It is amazing to see these folios and read them even though they are hard to make out somtimes.

So this is surprising. Arabe 399 is one of our oldest most complete Quranic manuscripts. The last couple of folios are quite damage, and retraced by a later hand... But the order of the Surahs is wrong! 365r starts with Q107, followed by... Q110 then Q109

@Mojo1968 @MakiTheSalafi Nice AI slop . You can't speak with your own words? It's not relevant to Islam what muslims do that goes against Islam, because if the religion doesn't teach it or allow it then it is not Islamic. What selective Islamic text did the AI tell you they were using?

Honour killings persist in several Muslim majority countries and are sometimes justified using selective Islamic texts on family honour and zina, despite official scholarly condemnations. The image's emphasis on judicial process is accurate for classical fiqh but does not prevent cultural practices where families act as vigilantes, often with tacit community or weak legal enforcement support. Claims of a strict ban overlook documented cases and fatwas in regions like Pakistan and the Middle East where perpetrators invoke religious duty.

@JR3q02 @MakiTheSalafi Do jews affirm your idea of God and this gradual revelation? Do they read that "us" & "we" & say God is multipersonal?

@SalHumbles @MakiTheSalafi No. What we believe is that the OT is a gradual revelation of the nature of God. So in Genesis u can see the plural nature of God (see above). BTW this is a book Mohammad confirmed. It’s in the Torah n is the same today as what was read to Mohammad 👍

@MakiTheSalafi Here’s ur answer. OT - gradual revelation of the nature of God from harsh n judgmental to merciful n forgiving. Final revelation of God (Jesus) in NT. Not only merciful n forgiving but lays His life down for our eternal life.

@Mojo1968 @MakiTheSalafi Oh, is that so? We like context when it comes to The Bible but we won't accept it for you muslims. Honor killings are forbidden in Islam and any culture that practices it is going against Islam.

The verse in Leviticus 21:9 is a narrow, divinely mandated judicial penalty under the ancient Israelite Mosaic Law to preserve the ceremonial holiness of the Aaronic priesthood, not a general endorsement of vigilante "honour killings" by families as seen in certain modern cultural practices. Oh like islam!

@nevlak_ @korrathetaymi That's not true. Jews will claim Christianity is completely different and new & that the revelation Jesus brought is a whole new revelation altogether. It's a new covenant, new revelation, new practices while also calling back to the God of Abraham. We can continue this in dms

@SalHumbles @korrathetaymi Because Jesus was a Jew, He practiced Jewish traditions, He wasnt bringing anything new. Islam presents a whole new revelation altogether. but while calling back to the God of Abraham. because look, even if i grant muhammad prophethood, there are still two questions to answer

The word in Arabic, “وَجَدَهَا,” means to appear, meaning he saw the sun as if it were setting in the ocean. This is something everyone who goes to the coast can see: it looks as if the sun is setting into the sea, but in fact, it never leaves its path in which it is fixed. - Ibn Kathir But we are still waiting on the insects on all four legs (Leviticus 11:20–23). Modern science shows us insects have 6 legs. 😂
GodLogic_GL@GodLogic_GL

Still waiting for humans to discover Muhammad's brilliant insight that the sun actually sets in a muddy spring of water (Quran 18:86).

@nevlak_ @korrathetaymi I do understand. The reason I'm responding to specific points you are making the way I am is to show you inconsistencies with how you view Islam versus Christianity. Because Christianity can be viewed that way as well when compared to Judaism.

I find it so funny that after InspiringPhilosophy fumbled his debate on Muhammad ﷺ in the Bible his response has been to just keep asserting that he’s ﷺ not prophesied ad nauseum like we didn’t all just watch him get battered in 4K😭

@BernErrakaunt @Ahraz__ You are singling out justice. God is also Merciful and Forgiving. If I disobey my mother and do something that only wrongs her - but then I come back to her and sincerely apologize and she knows my intention to not do it ever again. It is not unjust for her to forgive me.

@BernErrakaunt @Ahraz__ Brother if you sin against God & you repent and turn away from your sin there is no more injustice. If you do not repent then you are punished. If that doesn’t suit you fine. May Allah guide you.

@SalHumbles @korrathetaymi Christianity’s central claim, by contrast, is that God acted publicly through Jesus in history, public ministry, public crucifixion, and reported resurrection appearances to multiple witnesses. These are different kinds of foundations.

@nevlak_ @korrathetaymi From a Jewish perspective there is no complex monotheism & we muslims hold to that. It is strictly read as unitarian monotheism. Christian interpretations are being read back into the text but any text can be interpreted that way if you force it. There is no clear explicit verse.

@SalHumbles @korrathetaymi No you’re right 100% and I believe in Jesus Christ, I Believe it’s true. Is it true, who knows. I understand that. I’m just saying Islam coming later and making its claims, here is what it has to do first because one can grant prophethood to Muhammad. That is all
