This document, publicised in #Zambia last week, is a DISTORTED version of the ORIGINAL letter of even date that was signed by the then Chief Registrar of Society, Thandiwe Mhende. Thanks to well-placed parliamentary sources, I have seen copies of both the original and altered letters that were received by Clerk of National Assembly, Roy Ngulube. I have also seen the letter from Ngulube to the Registrar’s office in which he was requesting for information on office bearers of the main opposition Patriotic Front (PF). The altering was done AFTER Mhende was hounded out of office but signed by the deputy, Jason Mwambazi, and backdated to 30 October to make it look like it was written before she was ousted. The purpose is to shield the Speaker of the National Assembly Nellie Mutti from public criticism or blame after the ex Registrar of Societies, in compliance with a court order, printed an official electronic record that showed that no changes had been made to the list of PF office bearers. This revelation raised serious questions about the premise on which Mutti had made changes to the PF’s parliamentary leadership. I explain all these and other undemocratic manoeuvres by President @HHichilema’s administration in my latest political analysis to be published this this week.

He drove out French imperialism from Burkina Faso and withdrew from IMF and made the country non-reliant on foreign aid. He once said "He who feeds you controls you" He was assassinated in a coup that was led by his close ally, Blaise Compaoré who was supported by France. What are your thoughts on this?
