All due respect to The Batman, but let's not pretend that movie did something new when Nolan already did things like that in 2005. And much better too imo.

I love the Schumacher stuff too but those blatantly look like production stills whereas something like this set photo from The Batman looks like the perfect example of the “holy shit, he’s real!” thing as if someone looked out their apartment window in Gotham & took this photo

@TheVallyD The Stooges are the only ones that could switch one of their members and still make it work. Wether it was Shemp or Curly, they were still brilliant. Can't say the same about the others you listed.

As a kid, I ranked comedy teams as follows:
Marx Bros: high intellectualism (they’d play it on PBS)
Laurel & Hardy: also high class
Abbott & Costello: pretty good
Three Stooges: cheap trashy laffs
Rewatching the Stooges as an adult, I realized how good they actually were.

@FitMarshmellow That's an interesting theory, but I don't think it works.
Before the logo was official, the Batsignal already existed as well as the alien Batman from another world. These things likely inspired the actual logo. And maybe they were all inspired by the moon, but it was a process.

Gerry Conway kept Batman going in the late Bronze Age, but his run is so underrated that to this day it has never been fully collected as an omnibus or big trade.
Hopefully we get a proper Batman by Gerry Conway omnibus soon. He definitely deserves it.

Gerry Conway has sadly passed away at the age of 73. He is known for co-creating The Punisher, Ben Reilly, Firestorm, Jason Todd & more iconic characters. He also wrote one of the most iconic comic stories in history — "The Night Gwen Stacy Died"

That panel was written by Alan Grant and illustrated by Norm Breyfogle, Steve Mitchell and Adrienne Roy in Detective Comics #604 (1989)
Yes, Alan Moore wrote a Clayface 3 story, but that panel is not from that story.

@SalSaysWhat Cutting the fps and bitrate in half should work. Those specs are way too high for a standard HD video. The goal is to reduce the file size down to something manageable like 5-10gb instead of 20gb.

Se alguém quer invalidar uma obra e seu primeiro argumento é falar de "nostalgia", eu já nem levo a sério.
O monstro da nostalgia não vai matar vocês não, galera. Ninguém assiste e gosta de algo várias vezes porque na infância era maneiro, se ainda gosta, se faz algo, é por existir qualidade naquilo, e uma conexão que vai além da memória.
Temas, personagem, narrativa, mundo, tudo em uma obra é motivo para se prender a ela. O que não dá é pra ficar desmerecendo as coisas por você não gostar e achar um erro que outros gostem também.
E mais! Dragonball é bom pra caralho mesmo. Não é famoso por nada, nem bobo ou só feito de lutinha.
