For reference, I have a #Filipino flag on the wall and am very proud of my culture. The guy on the other end of the zoom call noticed and we bonded by pointing our lips at various things as we are both #pinoy The demo commenced, we get to the end and I talk budget. We laugh.

Now that I’ve had some time to process I figured I would share a tip for all you #sales folks out there. When two Filipinos are having a moment, let them have it. Don’t barge in with “Filipinos never pay full price for anything” when I ask about wiggle room. #salesforce

First day at my new job and I couldn’t figure out the camera slider 😂

As a side note, I gave them three weeks notice to iron this out and wrote out the job description for them to hire someone new and suggested a salary range. I’ve done all I can.

Two more days at my current role and they are fumbling 🤦🏽‍♂️. I want to help but then again I’m not sure what else I can help with. I offered to work as a consultant as needed hourly and I laughed at their counter offer to my rate. Good luck I guess.

@SalesforceKidd What @BRCTweets said! We do that and get paid for it - and you get to help them solve the problems. You get to learn from brilliant peers, partners, and users. Plus, no matter how similar, every org is different. ❤️

Does anyone else like taking interviews because I like to chat with other Salesforce folks and learn what issues they are facing in their orgs? No? Just me?

@GirlyGeekMel I used to not be a fan but they are growing on me 😂 I’ve only had one bad one recently. It was more of an interrogation than an interview. Those aren’t fun.

@SalesforceKidd I do not enjoy job interviews but I like this idea to reframe my attitude.

@davidgiller Yes of course. I’m in a couple. I guess I meant more of, “it’s my favorite part of the interview” and not so much “this is why I take interviews” if that makes sense.

@thecodinghigh Recently found out my coworker is underpaid compared to me and I’m already underpaid. I just assumed she made more than I do. She has more responsibility and seniority. I’m not sure how to help her cause but now we’re both “casually browsing” listings.
