This woman just made a trip to Goodwill... The store was mostly junk, but she decides to check out the purse aisle. A woman walks by, does a double-take, comes back and says, “Excuse me, I was actually gonna buy this purse. I saw it on the shelf first and I was gonna buy it." The purse on her arm the whole time was her own personal Louis Vuitton-style purse — the one with her keys, wallet, and everything inside it. @Parley_Preaches If I knew them as Bishop or President it's a hard habit to break. If they were Bishop or President before I knew them I don't refer to them with the title. It just sounds weird.

LDS culture question: After someone has been released from serving as a bishop or in the stake presidency, do you still call them “bishop” or “President?”

@iiTzz_Tyrell I always thought that part of the reason for not doing events, shopping, etc. on Sunday is because it requires others to work thus preventing them from keeping the Sabbath holy. Medical emergency is the only exception for us.

@sister_slay Since I am pretty sheltered due to circumstances I appreciate a pre-scheduled visit (pop-in anxiety). Ice breakers like asking a random question like “Would you go to Hawaii or Las Vegas?” or “ What song did you listen to on repeat as a teenager?” help.

How do you guys appreciate being ministered to? I need some ideas. Tbh, I hate being ministered to lol.

@PocketBree To keep the young ones in their chairs we would put little pictures of different things on their chairs and instruct them if we didn’t see it the whole lesson they would get a treat. They had to stay seated on it or we would see it.

I survived but it was terrible. I have the worst behaved kids. Literally jumping on chairs, screaming, burping in each others faces. I need ideas on a reward system. I don't want to be one of those people who just goes and gets their parents.

@JamesAFurey Case by case basis. My kiddo is SPED, but 2E. To help w/disregulation if they can show they have nailed the concept in less questions they can stop. The teacher determines how many questions show mastery to the teacher's satisfaction.

“Reduced work” is an actual accommodation frequently found on IEPs and it absolutely results in special ed kids just never catching up.

@jlpoober On the flip side are parents going hoarse telling schools how to help their children w/challenges, but the school is so wrapped up in red tape and lack-of-common-sense rules that even the simplest thing that would help can't/won't be done. They often are the ones in the way.

It’s not like in sci-fi movies where you can sleep (yet), but so far anything we’ve noticed is fixed quickly with each update. Tesla is on it with any issues. There have been a few times it saw what I didn’t see and that is impressive.
