@Jaqo483 @luxemiaa You come into “my” kitchen and leave cookies in my refrigerator for more than 3 days, they are considered legally mine. I don’t make the rules. 😂

My husband bought two KitKats one day. One was for him and one was for me. I ate mine immediately because that is what happens when you give me chocolate and expect patience. He put his in the fridge and then left the next day for a two-week work trip. That KitKat sat in the fridge the entire time he was gone. Every time I opened the refrigerator, it was there staring at me. I held out for several days because I am a supportive wife and I respect personal property. But sometime during week two, my self-control gave up. I ate it. I fully intended to replace it before he got home, but of course I forgot. So when he returned from his trip, he opened the fridge, looked around for two seconds, and.........

@luxemiaa Omgosh this sounds like me and my husband. 😁It just happened a couple months ago with cookies someone gave him at church. You would think he’d be used to it, but he still gets mad every time. 😂 He walked into church the following week and told everyone I stole his cookies.

and asked where his KitKat was. I confessed immediately. That was 13 years ago. We’ve now been married for 10 years, and he still brings it up like I committed a serious betrayal. Any time I mention trust, he says, “Trust? You ate my KitKat.” I have apologized many times. Apparently some wounds heal slowly, and some are wrapped in red foil and kept in the refrigerator.

We think the big moments are where everything changes. But God often works in the little ones. The quiet choices. The ones that feel so simple… we don’t realize they matter. Drinking a glass of water in the morning is easy. Skipping it is easy too. Going to bed a little earlier is easy. Scrolling a little longer is easy too. Taking a walk. Sending the text. Saying no. Taking a breath. None of it feels life-changing in the moment. That’s what makes them so easy to ignore. But those small choices add up. Quietly, over time, one choice builds strength while the other one drains it. One brings connection, and the other one creates distance. And most of the time, you don’t even notice it happening. We think change comes from the big moments, but more often than not, it’s built in the small, ordinary decisions we make every day. The ones that are easy to do, and just as easy not to do. So today… pay attention. Not to everything, just to the next small decision in front of you. Because it counts. More than you think. ☕️

“I don’t want to bother anyone…” That’s not grace, that’s people-pleasing. Fear… dressed up to look polite. Somewhere you learned your needs didn’t matter, so now you’d rather disappear than ask. But you were never meant to carry it alone You matter, your needs and wants matter. Ask! ☕️

I know I’ve said it before… but I love how many Christians are showing up lately. It’s like every time I blink, more of us appear. Multiplying like loaves and fishes, y’all. 🥹✨ It’s not just encouraging, it’s powerful. Faith-filled voices, real stories, bold truth… all in one space. We’re not hiding. We’re not watering it down. We’re showing up. And I’m here for it!! Let’s keep shining. 💛

@Her_Nonymous_D I’ve been cleaning houses for 30 years and this happens to me all the time. It’s almost like a ministry. You become part of their family, In some cases you are their connection to the outside world. And you discover that you need them as much as they need you.

It’s been about three months now, and honestly, it doesn’t even feel like just a job anymore. Somewhere along the line, I became the unofficial big sister of the house. The one that shows up, keeps everybody in check, and makes sure things don’t fall apart. Life is actually funny… I went there to clean, but somehow I ended up becoming part of their routine, their system and even their family. 😂

I got hired to clean a house where a dad lives with his two teenage sons. I thought it would be a simple in-and-out job… just come, do my thing, and leave quietly. But the first day I walked in, I just paused and looked around like, “yo, we have a lot to do here” 😭 Everywhere needed attention, and before I could even stop myself, I switched from cleaner to commander. I started assigning tasks like I’d known them my whole life. “You, go and fix that closet.” “You, please sweep outside.” I just started directing traffic. In my mind, I was convinced that was my first and last day. I mean, who sends their cleaner and she starts giving everybody instructions? I already told myself, “yeah, don’t expect a callback.” But they called me back. Not only that, they gave…
