I’m finally able to read it in full. just really obsessed with one uma thinking opera o is kind of unsettling and it specifically had to be cafe. I guess it’s mutual in that opera o was able to read an uncanny amount of her and cafe was suddenly unable to read somebody at all

The slander for mant is so dumb. Its legitimately such a fair scenario with the flaws being the aptitude gating but otherwise being very consistent for actually building an uma. “Its long” is such a cop out

Twitter is showing me TADC discourse and I keep looking at it because it's an incredibly interesting show to discuss and I have a morbid curiosity with that fandom, but I'm gonna have to fight to get out of that side of twitter in a week from now because I am NOT staying there

ok sorry for wall of text but: READ 👀 (long post) 🔥Ethical backseating is VERY IMPORTANT🔥 Let a streamer learn things on their own. Finding something yourself leads to it hitting MUCH harder than someone telling you "hey cool thing if you check behind that tile" SHUTUP. A lot of people are TERRIBLE at backseating and Deltarune and Undertale fans are the worst examples of this but its across a TOOOON of communities and spaces. With ch5 of Deltarune coming soon Ive been seeing MULTIPLE creators get spoiled to major reveals by overzealous chatters hinting too much as folks play through the chapters before release. (many of the most overzealous backseaters are often minors too so dont feel bad banning them to teach lessons) Creators will not always play exactly how you want. If there's missable content then ASK beforehand "do you want us to hint if your about to miss something important" and remember you are not the ones playing the game, you dont need to backseat every input and item. ALWAYS ALWAYS ask if they want to see something neat and ONLY hint, dont say what exactly. Streamers talk to themselves sometimes asking themselves questions. This is NOT an open call to confirm suspicions and spoil stuff, ask for confirmation first if you wanna do that. If they start spitballing and theorycrafting then hit them with the :) face or something vague idk, just dont ruin things while they put the pieces together. You can give neat trivia AFTER something happens, you dont need to force the most interesting result right away. Now a note: I GET IT, Im a bit of a serial backseater myself, it can take time to feel out where the limits are and sometimes a streamer will be stuck on something, get frustrated, start to hate the game and give up and never continue. Ive seen it, it happens. Support them without spoiling if its getting real bad, support their choices, react well, dont be assholes when they're already down or they really might NEVER pick up the game again, and really let them fight first before asking if they need help, dont be the annoying tutorial popup that appears every time you die in some games asking if you want to lower the difficulty. Outer Wilds enjoyers are probably THE BEST backseaters Ive seen in any community ever, everyone go learn from them and their ::) spam and outright refusal to spoil stuff yall are great. Everyone go play Outer Wilds. and STREAMERS: have clear terms around backseating for some games. It can be good to have a "safeword" for asking chat for help sometimes too since getting stuck in a game can be frustrating and its better to be helped than to hate the game... just make it clear when and when not for chat to help. I hope this helps :3 Thank you for reading my wall of text. Perhaps some stuff is slightly imperfect and I miss some scenarios but this I feel has been as comprehensive as I can get it. I WILL read all comments on this. Correct me if Ive been off on any of this🖤
