A firebreak can turn back the clock on coronavirus. We hope it will reduce the R number to below 1 and slow the spread of the virus. If we don’t act there’s a very real risk our NHS will be overwhelmed and even greater numbers of people will die.

We thank our representative APPG for keeping up pressure. Safe working is vital but if we are held back we will require, as a matter of urgency, further financial support before our industry collapses

The hair, beauty and wellness industry cannot be overlooked anymore. Co-chairs @carolynharris24 and @JudithCummins are calling on @BorisJohnson to provide the industry with a financial support package to ensure the long-term health of the sector.

Thank you @carlynharris and the @BAW_APPG for recognising the struggles of our industry. More time out and heavier restrictions, less financial support and having been ridiculed by ignorant, sexist MPs - this needs to change.
