@Clowfb You can’t deny any adult the opportunity to make more money. If he had a buyout, and it was paid, this is a non-issue. No tampering or denying a player the chance to make more money is a loser in court.

News: Sens. Ted Cruz and Maria Cantwell have authored a new college sports bill that would apply limits to areas currently creating controversy: a one-time free transfer; five-year eligibility limit that prohibits pro athletes; "Lane Kiffin Rule" curtailing job changes in-season

Lane Kiffin reveals why he chose LSU over Florida: "They (Florida) have a great program - it really was not about that. It was really about LSU and the belief I had in what we could do at LSU... It really wasn't about any other program. It was specifically about LSU."

@PeteNakos Are you saying Ole Miss would have had to keep Kiffin until the playoffs were over? Is that what this rule would’ve done last year?

The bill also includes an NFL-style rule, dubbed the "Lane Kiffin Rule", which would prohibit coaches from leaving their team before the season ends. Would be enforced at the conference level. on3.com/news/senators-…

The most important piece of this Senate bill: Includes the opportunity for schools to collectively pool media rights. A threshold of 75% of 138 FBS schools must be reached. Even if Big Ten + SEC didn't sign off and rest of FBS did, it would be over 75%. on3.com/news/senators-…

The NAACP and Hakeem Jeffries are calling on Black athletes to boycott entire states like Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, and South Carolina over redistricting. They want these young men to forfeit their education, NIL earnings, and professional careers over politics. They are using young Black men as chess pieces and asking them to destroy their lives. These people are sick and twisted.

“Protect Black political interests.” Notice what is missing? Marriage. Literacy. Ownership. Safe neighborhoods. Functional schools. Lower overdose rates. Fatherhood. Business creation. Wealth accumulation. Instead, it is always: votes… activism… boycotts… party loyalty… emotional agitation. That is why millions of people increasingly see these organizations as political enforcement arms instead of civil rights organizations. And let’s be honest… If a white organization openly declared: “White athletic talent should be used to protect white political interests”… the media would explode instantly. But racial collectivism suddenly becomes “justice” when packaged through progressive activism. Most Black athletes are not trying to become political soldiers. They are trying to escape poverty… build careers… help their families… and compete at elite levels. The obsession with turning every institution into ideological warfare is exhausting normal Americans. Corny. Predictable. Manufactured outrage again. #SilentMajoritySpeaks #AStoneGroove

The NAACP's campaign calls out Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and South Carolina as states to boycott, arguing that the athletic programs of those states' flagship universities are especially reliant on Black athletic talent and should protect Black political interests. I spoke with a parent of an Ole Miss football player who agreed with Lane Kiffin's Vanity Fair comments: "I know most of the black parents who travel in for games don't feel comfortable. What Lane said was absolutely true. Ole Miss has an identity crisis if they believe there aren't two different Americas in Oxford, Mississippi, in 2026." #HottyToddy #OleMiss

@TimBrando I agree with you Tim, but I think there is bad blood with these coaches dating back to Pete Golding's tampering that Dabo called out and using Sark's sobriety to try to bring Arch to Alabama.

@SaltLineReb @brlarw @KeithCarterOM I’m not even sure what you’re trying to say here. But I can’t expect an ole Miss fan to be grammatical I guess. The definition of the rebel is a traitor. The entire mascot is based on that. And yall defend it to the end. It’s nuts. But keep going!
