Might watch NBA next season after the daft was rigged again. The Mammoth will be the new team going forward.

Utah simply cannot afford to take bad penalties and give VGK extra opportunities as the Knights were eventually going to cash in.
They worked too hard to take the lead and then gave it up just minutes later.
Gotta stay levelheaded and keep it clean.

The Mammoth & VGK are tied 1-1 after the first frame in Game 5. Utah held just a short lead before a poor penalty cost them late. 40 to go.

By the way, I think this is bad news for the Jazz, especially in the short term.
The Jazz could conceivably make the playoffs and deliver the number one overall pick to Memphis in next year's draft.
That isn't possible under current rules.

If I have this right, there are 37 total lotto balls.
Teams with 1-3 worst records, and the 9-10 play-in spots have 2 lotto balls each (2.7% chance to win).
Teams 4-10 have 3 lotto balls each (8.1% chance to win).
Teams who lose 7-8 play-in get 1 ball each (2.7% chance to win)

The "3-2-1 lottery" proposal, named to represent the number of lottery balls per team, would expand the lottery from 14 to 16 teams. Teams that do not qualify for the playoffs or play-in tournament but stay out of the relegation zone (spots four through 10) would receive three lottery balls each. Teams with a bottom-three record -- the relegation zone -- would have just two lottery balls but have a floor of the 12th pick while the rest of the 13 lottery teams could fall as far as the 16th pick. The 9th and 10th play-in seeds in each conference receive two lottery balls each while the losers of the 7-8 play-in games receive one lottery ball each. In addition, no team would be able to win the top pick in consecutive years or be able to win three consecutive top-five picks. Teams also would not be able to protect picks in the 12 to 15 slots going forward.
