“The organizations building their Agentic Security Graph now are not doing it because something went wrong. They are doing it because they understand that the cost of building it before an incident is a fraction of the cost of needing it after one.” Learn more about the Agentic Security Graph and what it takes to stay secure in today’s evolving AI landscape: salt.security/blog/your-ai-a… #AgenticSecurityGraph #AIsecurity #AIagents #AgenticAI #apisecurity #cybersecurity #AIsecurity

Secure the AI action layer before it becomes the breach your organization is reacting to. Not sure how? We've got you covered. Join our upcoming webinar to learn more about… -The Agentic Security Graph: LLM (brain), MCP servers (hands), APIs (action layer). -Why MCP servers and API activity are the highest-risk, least-monitored surfaces. -A three-step operational approach: Discover, Govern (AG-SPM), Detect & Respond (AG-DR). -Identifying practical controls, telemetry sources, and workflows to reduce agentic risk and meet compliance. 🕘 May 19th at 9AM PST (12 PM EST) 🗣️ @cybrrnick Save your spot today → events.salt.security/theagenticsecu… #cybersecurity #webinar #aisecurity #agenticAI #apisecurity #AIagents #actionlayer

Q: "Shouldn't we be focused on securing the AI model itself?" A: It's the right instinct, but it's the wrong layer. The model doesn't move money. The model doesn't delete records. The model doesn't exfiltrate data. Agents do. And agents operate one layer below the model, at the action layer, where instructions become real-world consequences. The entire security industry is staring up at the LLM. Meanwhile, attackers are already working the layer below it. They're manipulating the tools agents use, compromising the MCP servers that broker actions, and exploiting the APIs that agents call. None of that requires touching the model at all. If your security strategy stops at the model, you have a plan for the wrong problem. Salt Security is built for the action layer. That's where risk is manufactured. That's where we focus. #AgenticSecurity #ActionLayer #AIRisk #CybersecurityStrategy #cybersecurity #AIsecurity #APIsecurity

When Claude is your competition, how do you stay competitive? By far the most interesting question during @alta_revenue travels in the US. We ran client workshops (by far the highest ROI use of our time) and talked about this a lot. Great to hang with @SaltSecurity and @Nominal_io Also ran a GTM + AI focused meetup in NYC for founders with @lovable. Here’s where we landed: when you’re going full “build-vs-buy”, the team’s expertise in specified domains and the technical specifics of your product become the main differentiator. Especially when you’re dealing with enterprise.

Salt sees east-west agent communication as a first-class signal. Who's talking to whom. What's being passed. Whether the chain of trust has been broken anywhere along the way. Your perimeter isn't the edge anymore. The agent mesh is. 3/3

Agents talk to other agents. They hand off tasks, share context, trigger downstream actions, and chain together in ways that never touch your perimeter at all. That's east-west traffic, and almost no security tool is built to see it. An attacker who compromises one agent in a chain doesn't need to breach your perimeter. They just ride the east-west flow. Agent to agent to action, completely beneath the radar of your existing stack. 2/3

@OX__Security researchers found “a critical vulnerability baked directly into Anthropic's Model Context Protocol SDK, affecting every supported language: Python, TypeScript, Java, and Rust. The result: remote code execution on any system running a vulnerable MCP implementation, with direct access to sensitive user data, internal databases, API keys, and chat histories.” AI agents don’t just think. They act. And many of those actions are happening through MCP servers that most organizations aren’t monitoring. Not sure what you can do? @SaltSecurity just dropped this: 48.9% of organizations are completely blind to machine-to-machine traffic. They cannot see what their SaaS integrations are doing. They cannot monitor AI agents operating in their environment. That's not a detection problem. That's a visibility architecture problem.
