Congratulations to Joseph Fung, for his reappointment by the Government of Canada to the #APEC Business Advisory Council (@APECBiz)! With his three-year re-appointment to ABAC, APF Canada, serving as the Canadian secretariat for #ABAC, is delighted to continue working with Mr. Fung.

Joseph, ABAC Vice-Chair to the APEC Policy Partnership on Food Security, attended the Food Security Ministerial, highlighted the integral role of private sector across the food value chain and reiterated the urgency of addressing food insecurity with a whole-of-society approach.

The ABAC Canada networking luncheon co-hosted by Saltagen, Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong, and ABAC Canada was a great success! The event provided opportunity for us to delve deeper into how APEC economies could utilize our regional ecosystems for technology scaling.

On April 22 to 25, ABAC members met in HK to discuss pressing global challenges related to regional and economic integration, sustainability, and human development. Joseph outlined how to better facilitate public-private partnerships to achieve regional food security goals.
